Having had one of these as a kid, I loved both its usefulness in learning geography as well as using it for beach games. I bought it for my 4.5 year old and she was instantly curious to find our city as well as ask about other countries. It also helps her coordination when we play catch. It was difficult to blow up via mouth and I resorted to a small ball pump that I have, which worked better. I would recommend it, great quality, clear writing and awesome fun.

I need a quick, easy and durable teaching aid while on my sailboat. This is a perfect solution! Its big enough with enough detail to be useful, while being compact when I need to stow it away. I wish I would have thought of this sooner!

The inflation didn’t last 24hrs. Purchased this for school purposes and durability did not meet expectations. It ended up just being a toy for my son, due to we were unable to use it for educational purposes. The size was of a typical ball. Value is a “what you pay for is what you get.” We purchased a real globe instead.

It's nice for a blow-up ball. I got it for a grand-nephew named Atlas because in Greek mythology it was Atlas who held up the world. And I did get a picture of our Atlas holding up the world. But I don't think it would last very long in actual playtime.

This is a good for learning and play. We use this as my 5 year old is learning the continents and singing the continents song. Sometimes we throw it back and forth as we say the continents, or we hit it back and forth as they are said. If he misses, and it falls to the floor, he points them out on the globe or sings the continents song. My 2 year old is hearing this and getting immersed for when he is old enough to learn them later. It is worth the it.

The 3 stars rating is because the globe is actually slight less than 12 inches in diameter (as shown in the advertising images). However, under Product Details->Product Specifications->Measurements, it states that the globe is 22 inches in diameter.Otherwise, it is adequate with enough detail for Home use.

It was just what I needed for teaching my class. One of the older boys had a little bit of a problem pumping it up with an air pump (meant for balls). Maybe he should have blown it up like a balloon.

Very good first globe. Pretty good visually. Certain colors too dark to see much, but overall a great deal.
