I have a bad habit of locking myself out of my van. My keys fall out of my pocket and living in California and having the "lock the door" muscle memory means I have called AAA to help me out a few times. No longer, these magnetic key boxes do their job. Strong magnets, too.

Gave these as a gift. Big enough for a key, small enough to hide. Magnets are strong.

I like it overall. Very large compared to others I've had. But it's super hard to open, even as a grown man. Strong magnet, and as hard as it is to open, I'm betting it's fairly water resistant (within reason, obviously). Not regretting the purchas because once I put it away, I probably won't use it but once or twice, in which case I won't care it's hard to open as long as I *can* open it when I need to.

Good strong magnetic and sturdy plastic body. But not an insane amount of space. Enough for a key or a few bills folded over. That being said if it were bigger it would be easier to spot defeating its purpose. Looks like it can hold to a car foe trip up and around but I use it for more stationary bases. Good price for a good item. The kid can be a bit tricky to slide off but not a deal breaker. Just remember that you have to place this where it can’t be seen or else you are just wasting your time. In some house there are too many metal surfaces so you just have to look around a bit. In an apartment it’s much easier. Keep in mind this is not water proof nor fire resistant. It will melt and water will definitely make its way in. Not a big deal for key and such but for small papers or currency is a problem. Also it has the company logo printed in white right on the lid. Simple electric tape or a black sharpie is the way to go if you are intent on being super covert.
