A white plastic bench might be just as functional at a lower cost, but this one is aesthetically pleasing and well-made. It drains just fine through gaps between the slats of the top, and I like the lower shelf. It was easy enough to assemble with a (not-included) ratcheting screwdriver and set of bits (most basic sets include the Allen wrench bit you'll need for this bench). A little Allen wrench is included, but once you've used a ratcheting screwdriver with an Allen wrench bit, you'll never go back! In the age of IKEA, do yourself a favor and buy better tools than the ones that come with every toy and piece of furniture that needs assembly.

Terrific shower bench. Weighs more than expected, but that’s okay because it really feels sturdy and substantial. Getting older means getting a shower bench. 👍

I recommend wiping it down regularly to make sure standing water isn’t sitting on it but if you take proper care of it it really looks nice in a roomy shower with no seat. My partner is about 200 pounds so it’s nice and sturdy too.

My husband had a sudden need for a shower bench and having another beautiful bench outside, I decided on this one. It didn’t disappoint. The same strong, beautiful qualities. I have a third teak piece and it can’t compare to this brand. Ladies know what they’re doing! The wood is so beautiful that after it’s no longer needed in the shower, I can use it for an extra seat in dining area where I have teak and rattan. Great value for the money and seriously beautiful wood.
