Packs a punch for a low price
Got to admit I was a bit sceptical at first reading mixed reviews. But for the price took a punt, worst case could always return it if I wasn't happy.First off, it is well packaged, unlike the ACER screen delivered the day before (see other review) so you should not have any issues with a damaged screen etc.Hooked it up using a DP Cable, powered it on and first impressions, bright, great size......but Yellow tint. Now others have mentioned this but after fumbling around with the screen buttons underneath i soon managed to resolve it.First go to Eye Care tab, then click right and in Low Blue Light select Multimedia, then click down one and selectcolour weakness (this is the important bit) click on Red Filter and Green Filter, and reduce them to Zero. Then turn Brightness up and Hey Presto, no yellow minging tint on the screen.Nice touch is the cable hider at the back of the stand, keeps everything tidy.Been playing COD etc, no need to change the screen mode to game, the multimedia setting is the brightest and clearest mode.Built in speakers? yeah, you get sound, not the best but adequate if your watching YouTube, certainly no good for gaming, stick to your headset for that. Was using my sons 31.5" AOC Gaming monitor which is on another level, but of course it would be, its over double the price, but for £150, i would certainly recommend this little beauty.

Great budget monitor
Amazing quality for a cheap budget monitor, I got this to replace a failing HKC 2612A 26"I also have 2nd BenQ G2222HDL 22" monitor that has been on 24/7 for over 10 years and is still working 100% fine so I hope I get the same lifespan from this new BenQ.Picture colours are sharp and very clear, although I have reduced the Green from 50 to 40 using NVidia Control panel.Picture attached is of the dead pixel (to be expected with any LED monitor) it looks worse than it is and barley noticeable.[UPDATE]: the dead pixel has fixed itself after wiping the screen - so no dead pixel anymore. Also switching to 75Hz gives a much better picture so don't forget to switch. 75hz only seems to be selectable via HDMI lead, DP+DVI connections seem to only max at 60hz (other leads may differ - mine were cheap)

Pretty good budget option, but with some drawbacks
So on the whole this is a good monitor. It's a great size by a respected brand at a very competitive price point. The picture quality is not perfect though- this monitor really seems to really struggle with shadow areas and other dark colours- it pixelates quite badly and I've found the only way to minimize this effect is by turning the gamma down (which impacts on the overall picture) on the monitor itself, although I got better results by turning gamma down when going through Windows display settings. On the whole it's far more noticeable in videos (eg YouTube) than games, so if you're primarily using it for that maybe that's an issue you can live with. Seems to cope a lot better with highlights and I've not noticed any blowouts in that regard. Viewing angles also aren't the best but that's part and parcel of a TN display. It is a good monitor, but it has drawbacks and you should be aware before purchasing.

Awesome for the price!
I have used BenQ for a few years now and I rely on their well built, professional style of monitors. This one is just that. The image quality is fantastic for this price range, I can’t review the speakers as I didn’t opt to have that specific model. One minor flaw however is that the button placements (underneath the monitor) aren’t as efficient as had anticipated. They don’t apear to have information near them which usually indicate what they do. This consequentky makes the UI and menus hard to navigate. With some practice however, this becomes less of an issue. Other than that, it’s a fantastic monitor, from a reliable company, at a great price. Highly recommended!

Exellent monitor
I'd been searching a number of monitors and stumbled across this one. The specs seemed good for my reuirements and for the price i got it at it is a brilliant buy. It's excellent for gaming, picture quality is exceptional. The inbuilt speakers are ok, not brilliantly powerful but decent enough.Overall this is an excellent monitor to have.

Sharp, crystal clear, good sound quality, great design
Bought this for my son's new gaming computer. Looked at loads but this came out on top for me, for quality, style, value for money and the brand for gaming monitors. The cables tuck away inside a cable cover at the back of the centre stand of the monitor. Very clever and it keeps the desktop nice and tidy. The screen and picture quality is crisp and crystal clear and makes gaming a real pleasure. The sound quality is good for a monitor, and you can attach speakers to it. But personally I don't think it needs it.

Superior TV Screens
Amazing HD quality and I love using BenQ screens. I used another model before for 5+ years and its still not dead and I got this in my new home. I will share a tip for long life, clean the LED screen and back with a dry cloth every month at least once, then you will see high life.It solves my daily work needs and personal movie watching time in bed. You will never buy any TV once you get this monitor screen. Audio is great as well, but a honest comparison of audio to a sound card it will be 80% match to a sound card because sound card is designed to boost sound, so its generally 20% louder than TV audio. Hope this helps someone!

Good monitor and it comes with a decent length HDMI cable
Really good monitor, I am now working from home and using it 12 hrs plus per day and I don't get eye strain, which I did from my old monitor. It is really easy to assemble and set up and appears to be very well made. Please note, this monitor comes with an HDMI cable. The description doesn't make it clear that the cable is included and Amazon tell you that most people buy a cable with the monitor, so I bought one. I suspect there are a lot of BenQ customers who now have a spare HDMI cable tucked into a drawer in their home office...
