Great daily lotion
This is my daily body lotion. No unnecessary scents and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. Medium consistency that absorbs relatively quickly. Worth the price.

Eczema sufferers: try this lotion!
I have been suffering from very severe eczema for the past two years. I have been to countless doctors and have tried what feels like every steirod cream, anti-itch cream, bleach baths, oatmeal baths, tons of off the shelf creams, oral medications including prednisone and cyclosporine...and nothing really eased my symptoms. I've had patch tests, blood tests, the works. I thought I was doomed to a life of bleeding, weeping skin, peeling face, arms, hands, legs, and itching that would frequently bring me to tears it was so painful and uncomfortable.I ordered this lotion like I've ordered so many others, figuring it's worth a shot and it couldn't hurt. I also ordered borage oil supplements which I started taking orally along with this topical lotion. I am amazed! In the three days I have used this, the redness that has covered basically my entire body is almost completely gone. Open sores are healing up. Peeling/flaking skin has almost completely disappeared. I was very skeptical because this lotion is super thin, very watery. I thought for sure this would be a bust. For the first day or two of using this, I put it on after my shower and applied Sween cream and/or Cetaphil over the top. After a couple days, I only needed to apply this without the additional lotion on top. My skin still gets a bit dry by the end of the day, but I take a quick rinse in the shower in the evening and apply a second coat before bed and I feel a huge amount of relief. The itching is not gone, but it is MUCH more manageable and the appearance of my skin is vastly, vastly improved. I feel normal again, I don't feel embarrassed by my skin, and I can finally wear short sleeved shirts again!I know how hopeless you can feel suffering from eczema but I would encourage anyone in this situation to try this lotion. This company also makes a thicker hand lotion...I bought that as well and use it throughout the day, and I would also highly recommend that product.

Gentle for very effective skin healing and moisturizing
I've used this very effective lotion for a decade and it never disappoints. The mild scent and simple formula that includes borage seed oil is remarkably soothing and healing to my skin. It has repaired stressed-out skin surfaces and is non-greasy, easy to apply and never feels thick or gloppy. I use it on face and body and it is very gentle. I've never needed any other expensive, salon skin product. This does it all and is particularly good for my face. The price ordered through an Amazon vendor was more reasonable than in any store I've seen it in.Additional note 09/09/18: I've ordered this product several times from the same seller and Amazon fulfills the orders. Up until the delivery today, the product was always properly packaged, with heavy, sticky tape over the pump and secured down the bottle. Today's product arrived open because it had been put in a heavy polymer-type bag without any tape securing the pump. Product had leaked out over the bottle and it was quite messy to clean up. I had to discard some of the product in the bottle when cleaning up the spilled product. Amazon issued a full refund and the rep said she would advise Amazon's shipping department about this. I advised the seller in a contact email that it should also contact Amazon about being more careful in properly packaging products before shipping. I do want to continue ordering from this seller and Amazon and will try again.

Great lotion for resolving dry skin issues, but there are issues to consider
Update 9/20/19: It appears the issue with the valve has been fixed since I wrote the review (for orders since), so am changing my rating to a 4.***********I really wanted to give this product a 5 star rating, and would have a couple months ago.I've been using it for several years, and it is almost magical. It really does work, and it works much better than prescription skin lotions that I've tried.I have a spot on my leg that used to always itch and be dry, and this is the only lotion that would work--much better than Eucerin, a lotion that my doctor prescribed for me. With regular applications of Borage Therapy, the problem of my dry spot has cleared up entirely. I'll also treat my feet with it regularly, and they look baby-soft. It's really a great overall lotion in many respects. I've even used it in unconventional ways by adding about a tablespoon to my shampoo, and it has cleared up dry scalp problems that I often faced in winter's past without causing any side issues. So, if reading this, it's only fair that you ask why I gave it a 1. There are three main reasons:1.) The consistency seems to vary, and is never quite right. Often, it seems to congeal somewhat in the valve, and small clumps come out. For a while, the consistency was thinned; and then it came out like a squirt gun, which was worse. Given the benefits of the lotion, however, I'm willing to overlook it.2.) There is a slight odor, particularly while it's still moist. The odor never really bothered me that much, but friends to whom I've recommended the product did find it annoying and decided not to use it as a result. When it's dry, I don't notice the smell; and, again, am willing to overlook that mild inconvenience.3.) And this is the biggie: With the latest bottle that I ordered, the cap/push-valve/pump/dispenser was pushed down. In the past, I could just turn it, and it popped up. However, with the most recent one, the dispenser was stuck, and there was nothing that I could do about it. I tried twisting and turning and pushing down, etc., to no avail. I thought maybe there were some instructions for opening this new dispenser-type, for whatever changes were involved, but saw none. When I finally pulled up to see if that would work, the top part just snapped -- not broken, mind you, but simply disconnected. And it would reconnect just fine. But there was no way to get the dispenser to release the lotion through normal pump action, and allow it to function normally. Fortunately, I had the previous bottle still, so I just unscrewed the cap and put the old dispenser on it. And now it works fine with that top. But if I was a first-time buyer, I'd be a little upset, and might have to unscrew the top and squeeze it out otherwise. I find it confusing how this change could pass quality control. In any case, I will probably still continue to purchase this product again--at least, one more time--because it's the only lotion that I've found that works for me.I've also recommended it to a relative whose hands were often chafed from his work, and he loves it as well (as do some of his co-workers).However, I can't express how disappointed I am with the change in the dispenser, which I find extremely annoying. If my next purchase is satisfactory with the pump, I may change my rating. However, if this problem with the dispenser persists with future purchases, I may have to start looking at other products available.
