Works great on the back door canopy covering. I spray underneath the canopy & it totally keeps the rain from pouring through. Purchased this product twice & will get more when we run out.

I used these to waterproof my miniature horse's blankets. It took about two cans per blanket and it's held up for years!

This is my go-to water repellant spray for everything from horse blankets, tents, hiking boots and outdoor furniture. It sprays evenly, dries quickly and so far has not left any smell or residue on the items I have sprayed. My horse blanket and boots are sprayed annually, but I've gotten a few years of protection on my outdoor furniture and tents which don't get wet often.

I've been using this spray on my outdoor gear, and it works well so far. The spray provides excellent water repellency, keeping my items protected from rain and moisture from the spring to fall months. It's reassuring to see water bead up and roll off the fabric surfaces.However, one downside is the need to reapply it annually. While the protection it offers is impressive, the fact that it only lasts a year and needs to be reapplied can be quite pricey. With four cans in the pack, it’s a decent value initially, but considering the recurring cost, it does add up over time.If you need a reliable solution to keep your outdoor items dry, this product does the job well. Just be prepared for the annual maintenance and the associated costs. Despite this, its effectiveness in protecting against water damage makes it a worthwhile investment for keeping your outdoor gear and furniture in good condition.

This should be used as the last step of a 3-step process to restore waterproofing to tent rain flies and tent floors.Regarding this step of applying this DWR:With my tent setup with its rain flyon a warm sunny day, I applied this DWR into the fly, working in sections. I sprayed on the DWR steadily in sweeping motions until the fly darkened from being damp. THEN, I quickly used a soft cloth and wiped the damp fly in strokes perpendicular to the spray strokes I used to spray on the product. This blended the product across the fly better, avoiding strips that were less “proofed”.I did this process for the whole fly and exterior of the floor of the tent. I let dry completely in the sun, snd then repeated the whole thing a 2nd time.Results were excellent restoration of my tent to its original waterproofing.Again, I can’t stress enough that this DWR is only the last of three steps to restoring a tent’s water resistance.1. Clean tent with Solarwash.2. Reapply seam sealer to all seams in floor snd fly.3. Apply Solarproof to interior of the floor and underside of the fly.4. Apply this scotch guard DWR to exterior of floor and exterior of fly.Lots of mixed reviews here, but this DWR worked great for me.Advice: buy more than you think you will need. It’s not worth saving a few dollars, then to run out of product I’m the middle of application.

Have used this for years on my tent, boots, shoes, hats and jackets.Be sure to apply OUTDOORS as the directions State. This product Works as described, without making the materials stiff. Nothing sticks to this and makes cleaning so much easier and the price can't be better.
