Crafters Workshop Gesso, Multi-Colour, 7.87 x 7.46 x 7.46 cm

a clear matte protective gesso. very nice and almost as good as the more expensive Art Basics gesso ...just not quite as smooth but does exactly the same thing. Would highly recommend it if cost is an issue.

First time ever buying this type of product I am a beginner learning how to paint. Seems to do what it says

Previously, I had bought a different brand of gesso that was white. I didn't realize there were more differences to gesso than white/clear/etc. However, the previous brand was always sticky even after i left it to dry for days. This stuff is not sticky at all after it dries and I love it! Anyway, I can't recommend it enough. Oh and it is definitely clear when it dries! Enjoy your crafting :)

I bought this to prep my paint-by-number canvases & it works fantastic for that purpose! Dries clear so I am able to still see all the cells & numbers. However, I was pretty disappointed that when I received it, the inner paper cap covering the gesso was not in place & the lid to the jar was actually really loose so gesso had spilled all over in the plastic bag that the jar was shipped in (hence why the 4 star review). It was pretty messy! Even with that slight issue, I would purchase this product again & would recommend it.
