Hubby worked in the yard all day in 93 degree weather with 56% humidity. It was HOT. He said the hat really worked cooling him down and he had no complaints about it. The fans have different speeds and the direction of the air flow can be changed. Fit well. No issues with the weight of the fans. Good quality. Hubby was concerned the neighbors may make fun of him but it provided such a relief he did not care. Well worth the money.

I thought the hat looked a bit dorky, but this hat is incredible.I trade pins at Disneyland on Saturdays, and I loathe the summer months because of the heat. I know, it's not as bad as Florida, but as I get older I don't do so well in the heat. But this hat allows me to stay cool, even wearing my pin vest.The compliments and comments just don't seem to stop. I was at the Orange County Fair yesterday, and had at least a dozen people stop me and ask where I got it, or just compliment how great it was. One of them was even a seller of similar hats at the fair. Some notes:-The brim is very wide (6"), so it keeps the sun off of my ears and neck, which is a big win to begin with.-The solar-powered fans work in direct proportion to the amount of sun. Any shade, and the fans shut off. Usually not a problem. In comparison to "battery mode", the solar fans may seem a bit slow. But if you're in the shade, you don't need as much cooling.-Battery mode is the best for extreme heat. The fans go for hours. I haven't been able to fully test them, but ran them for 4 hours recently without issue. Typically, I'll walk into Disneyland in the morning when it's still cooler, but I'll still get a bit warm carrying my pins. So I'll turn on one of the fans, even if there is shade or cloud cover.The hat comes folded, but that crease disappeared immediately. Other hats may be floppy in the front, but this one keeps its shape. Definitely 5 stars.

Works great, fans are loud

Although the item itself looks a bit silly it works. Great to cover your head and keep the heat off. The size is a bit big but it's to cover you from the sun.

Hat its self provides excellent shade to face and neck , the usb powered fans feel great and keep you cool and last for days however the solar powered function never worked from day one and it only runs off charged battery

Everyone thought this hat was ridiculous until I was sitting in the sun comfortable and they were melting. The brim is a little heavy but it’s worth it. I like the fans in the back because when they are in the front my eyes dry out quickly. The brim is stiff enough to hold the fans out. The solar option is amazing for those long outings when the batteries run low or when you forget to charge it. I’m not a fan of the camouflage fabric but oh well. I’d buy again.

Game changer for working outside in the heat. Fans work immediately with solar power. Surprised by how quickly the fans spun. Recommend for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors.

Overall it’s poor quality in my opinion. I wanted to love the hat but it needs improvements. I don’t like how hard it is to adjust the fans. They can't be adjusted while the hat is being worn. Quite frustrating to maneuver them in place, and even then, the angles are pre-determined due to the design factor. The string around the band to tighten the fit doesn’t do anything. Preventing it from feeling secure on your head when you wear it. The weight of the fans weighs the sides down, and honestly leaves you with an awkward style hat. The design of the solar panels could be better. If it’s a bright day and you plan to use the solar panels to run the fans, they’ll constantly turn off if the fans are tilted slightly toward you—a nice mock design. But the company should make improvements to the hat. A neck fan would better serve you. I ended up returning the hat.
