This is an amazing piece of kit.It has an amazing DAC built in - if you don't believe me, google the reviews.It takes a USB input and spits out S/PDIF (Coax and Optical) and RCA - all for £80!Probably my most positive recommendation I have ever given for anything I have bought on Amazon.Properly impressive.Thank You Shenzen Audio - and by the way your customer service is outstanding!

My heart sank when I removed the paper envelope packaging to reveal the box, and then I heard something rattling inside. 😭I tried to unit it worked great, but not knowing if a part had come loose, or a fixing, I was not sure about the longevity of the unit. You really only get 30 days, after that you are sending it back to China for repair with all the risks associated with that.A real shame, as it sounded good, and would have further improved over time.One thing to note, if using with a streamer, most of which do not completely turn off, the unit with stay on. The manual says that it turns off with no audio signal, but this was not my experience.It's gets 5 stars as this unit 'could' have been damaged in transport.

Used this to pipe audio via usb from a Raspberry pi as a cheap streaming solution. I used it as a replacement for the Hi-Fi Berry DAC+pro. It was vastly superior. Just get an external DAC rather than messing around with DAC pi "hats" by the time you buy all the components it is going to run you the same price anyway and the difference is night and day.

Excellent sounding, fully featured and simple to set up and use - can't fault it at the price

This DAC handles everything you throw at it. DSD. FLAC. HiRes. The only thing it doesn’t do is MQA.It also plays everything gapless.And the sound quality is fantastic. Precise. Balanced. Amazing depth and clarity.I currently use it plugged into an RPi acting as a Roon endpoint. I’ve also used it plugged into a Windows PC.For the price, a no-brainier. You will need to pay 10 times the price to match it.

The Topping D10 is a great bit of kit, fantastic value for money and seems to be well made but I had an issue with mine after 6 months use. The audio in one channel became noticeably louder and distorted easily, background hiss was high too. I tracked it down to a poor quality chip holder for the user replaceable op-amp. Something to watch out for. Other than this, very happy with it.

I bought this for my husband and it lies unused in its box..... you need a computer or laptop for setting this up and we have neither. I did consider returning the item but it would end up being more expensive to return it to China than it cost in the first place....My husband has since bought another system......

Good price , I'm using it as a usb to optical, which works well.
