Sweet children’s book
I bought this for my pre-k kiddos who were making fun of the food other people were eating. It really helped introduce the concept that food from other cultures isn’t bad, it’s just different and different is good! It opened up doors to talk about being curious about people that may do things differently than we do and how to be inclusive of them. Such a great little read!

Read for a school project
I read this for a school project on diversity children’s literature. It’s a cute book that shows diversity through food.

Already bent
Looks like a fun, age appropriate boom but it came with a fold - like it had been bent in half. Wanted it as a gift. Too bad it's already bent.

Recommended by a kindergarten teacher
Have you heard #clearthelist? A list where school teachers request stuff for their classroom? This book was specifically requested a kindergarten teacher (who works in a title 9 school). I sent it to her via the #clearthe list. She was so happy. She sent me a picture of her bookstand where the kiddos can look at books (in her school, kindergarten children are not allowed to use the library).
