Easy Peasy
My brother put us up in a vacation home for a week and we didn't have the money to pay him, so I fixed up his old crappy laptop he refuses to upgrade. Installed this to get him to 8 GB ram and put in a 1TB SSD and that thing rips now. He and his wife are very happy with it. It's an old machine with an i3, and with 4 GB of RAM it just wouldn't run Windows any more. This helped fix it right up.

Great value for money
There are quite a number of identical RAM of the type I was looking for to upgrade my laptop. From Samsung to generic brands from China. I was at first skeptical about buying non-branded RAM chips but the price differential was significant enough between the branded Samsung/Transcend/Crucial/etc and the non-branded ones to give the non-branded ones a try. These ones are from SK-Hynix. Came in a hard plastic box, sealed with tape which needs to be torn to open the box. Tape was intact which gives me assurance that it was never opened. Installation was a breeze. Started up my computer and detected the additional RAM with no problems at all. Checked the system specs and true enough the additional RAM showed up. I did not test it for speed so I cannot attest how fast these RAM are. All I needed was more RAM for browser cache and other programs to work with so that there will be less memory swapping (which cause slowdowns). Now my system is noticeably faster and programs do not take too long to start up anymore.Recommended.

Check the "Rank" of your memory before ordering. Use a free app like CPU-Z or similar.
I purchased this from Anthlas Technology. Arrived in 3-4 days after purchase via USPS.Check the "Rank" of your memory before ordering. Use a free app like CPU-Z or similar. These are Rank "1" or "Single" Rank memory modules. (The 1x8 chip configuration SODIMMs) These work well with other single rank memories in Dual Channel motherboards. They will work in dual channel configuration with a dual Rank SODIMM but at a slightly reduced memory bandwidth speed (~12.8 vs. ~13.6GB/s as read by memtest 86). I would personally match whatever SODIMM you have in your laptop with the same memory configuration (Both single or dual Rank memories the small speed delta is probably not noticeable in real average use)This single rank memory alone, was about 5-10% slower in memory bandwidth than it was when paired with a Dual rank Crucial part CT51264BF160B I first bought to upgrade memory in a Dell 3558-5500 i3 5015U laptop. I chose to find this Hynix online to match the SODIMMS exactly. Didn't want to deal with any possible memory issues in the future, they are hard to diagnose clearly. So, in conclusion, either match the memory you have in your machine exactly, or pull it and replace with another matching pair of the same type, rank, speed, etc....FYI, the Dell laptop mentioned comes with one 4GB Hynix single rank SODIMM installed, and has an open slot for a second. Dell claims 8GB total allowed. Have found many Dell's allow more memory than they say is possible (for product price differentiation?) but haven't tested more memory in this machine. Your mileage may vary.

Easy install, plain and simple
Popped this in my HP Pavillion G6, expanded the my RAM from 4gb to 8 gb. Laptop runs twice as fast and I even was able to get away with mixing RAM with no problem. $15 for twice the speed, computer runs like more than brand new.

Fit perfectly and worked great.
Worked as soon as I installed it.
