This mug was a replacement for an identical one which somebody else broke, as it was my favourite mug, I looked on Amazon and, when I found it, I ordered a replacement.I am very happy to say that it is identical, just as large and colourful, so I am a very happy customer.Also, it was beautifully packaged and in a nice box.

I bought this mug to replace a broken mug I have had for some years. It is part of a set. Unfortunately the mug I purchased does not match the existing set. It is .4l as opposed to .5l capacity and the China is quite different. Although both state they are made from fine China the original set are fine bone China in appearance whereas the new mug is thicker and of a much cheaper manufacture in its appearance. The original set has a painted stripe on the handle. The new mug does not. The picture transfer appears to be the same. At first I thought the new mug was a copy but on further research it would appear that Churchill may have changed the manufacture of this range. It is disappointing because we like the large capacity of the original and also the finer edge to the rim of the mug. Be aware that if you are buying to match a set you bought some time ago the new mug will only match by picture and not in any other way.

I feel like I’ve been had but should have done more research. This mug was to replace a beloved mug I broke a few days earlier. The quality does not seem so good .it’s smaller and a different shape to my last one. The handle does not feel right and is not so comfortable to hold. Loved having my morning coffee in it. As soon as I opened my package I could see it was different but I thought it would be ok so I got rid of packaging otherwise I would have returned it. The more I look at it and use it it’s really bugging me. Going to have to look for another mug now

Bought to replace broken mug, disappointed that the shape has changed since buying set of 6. Now have a set of 5 and an odd 1!

This cup is absolutely beautiful, I own quite a few from the range, this is by far the best with the most fresh looking colours. Gorgeous!

Great gift for wildlife lover

I’m wanted one the same as the earlier one I broke. The new ones might be made in the UK, but they are both heavier and smaller. Preferred the earlier ones from China
