Great Inserts for Boots
I have these in 2 different pairs of heritage style boots, and I like them quite a lot. They're great for comfort, and easy to fit into the boot. They seem to be holding up fine, as they've been in there for about a year.

Uses less room
If you need an option that takes up less room in your shoes, this is a good bet. The heel cup is deeper than typical insoles. And the front ball-of-foot area is also thinner. Consequently, there’s less cushioning, but that’s the trade I was willing to make to be able to make my tight Chelsea boots fit better. It’s still leagues better than the flat disposable type of insoles. I did find it annoying that it crinkled when I tried to put the insoles in—makes me worry about the long term durability. However, it works for now and is at a price point that I can just get new ones happily if it lasts at least a year of staggered use.

Terrible... worthless inserts.
I'll start by explaining I have jacked up feet... non-union fractures in both feet, large heel spurs in both feet, and abnormally large tendons in both feet according to the ortho surgeon. Not a day goes by without pain, the degree of which is the only thing that changes. If you're someone who doesn't spend a whole lot of time on your feet, this review probably isn't for you. I'm in the Army, and need to be able to run fast, long, and often... many of my peers suffer from similar issues as I... this review is directed more towards you.Ok, so I usually where the Powerstep inserts... I have many of their different models, all of which are awesome... this purchase was an item to find cheaper, but compatible, inserts. The envelop inserts are certainly cheaper, but absolutely NOT comparable. I was reading an article rating the top inserts for folks with plantar fasciitis... these were ranked number one... whoever wrote that article must have been smoking something, or getting a check from envelop.I put them in my asics cumulus 17 shoes, ran... about 100 feet.... and immediately stopped. I turned around, walked back to the house, took these out and put my Powerstep inserts back in.Material: weak sauce! Whatever they used provides no resistance... NONE! I had a more difficult time folding cardboard in half than these... I mean, I accidentally fold these in half (lengthwise) while getting them in my shoe.Feel: didn't even know they were there in a very bad way. These things were described as being perfect for feet like mine... my feet need real support.. the Powerstep inserts aren't always the most comfortable, but they PRTOTECT my feet and limit the pain I experience while running, rucking, or walking... after years of using them, the envelope inserts felt like they weren't in my shoes... take a pair of shoes, take out whatever inserts are in them so you see the bare sole of the shoe... put your feet in them now... and that's how these feel.Garbage... will be returning.

Good as pinnacle, but perhaps will last longer?
Great arch support for a reasonable price. We will see how they hold up long term. One thing I like about these is that they do not have a hollow space below the arch support area which always seems to collapse after much use on other brands. I think this makes them last a bit longer than some of my other favorite brands like powerstep pinnacle. It's not that these offer any better arch support, I just think they will last longer before they loose their height in the arch area. They do come a little larger than pinnacles but I have no problems just tracing around the original shoe insert and trimming them to size. This might possibly cause an issue if switching them amongst shoe types, but I just usually leave these in whatever pair I originally placed them in. I love the arch support that P.S. pinnacles give, but they tend to loose their spring after the area under the arch support weakens and collapses. The envelops are solid under the arch support so I am trying these out to see if they hold their shape longer and offer the high arch support I need for longer periods of time. One thing about these, is that they are thick so I only use them in sneakers and boots. I doubt these would fit in any dress shoes but thats not what I buy them for.
