Such a great candle. I never like to spend too much on a candle, unless it’s wood wick, but I’ll always keep getting this one. The smell is amazing. I was living in PA for a while for school and loved to get this candle for that reminder of home. Great quality and a pretty glass container too

I bought the Southern California scent, and all I can say is … FINALLY a candle that captures the scent of the Southern California I grew up with - the nights where sweet orange blossom and jasmine perfume the air. Finally a candle that is home.Night fragrance throw, not overly perfumed. Packaged well to keep from breaking in transit.

I was born and raised right in the middle of South Carolina, so when I bought one of these during our terrible “shutdown year” of 2020 I just loved the scent. It really did remind me of some of the scents of home and it smelled a bit flowery without seeming too feminine for me (I usually prefer masculine scents).In other words they did a good job with all of the Notes (different kinds of smells in it).I also sent one of these as a gift to a girl friend in Seattle and she was really pleased with it.So there are really only two issues with this candle: it’s not large, and so it only has space for a single wick.But it did “throw” the scent pretty well and burned evenly all the way down to the bottom.The other issue is the price — at nearly $40 they aren’t cheap! But I don’t regret having purchased it and as a matter of fact I think I’m going to buy another one someday, and I’d also like to try to make my own version of it just for fun.Since I got this one from Homesick I’ve also bought a bunch of different kinds of candles from Goose Creek and Tuscany for about $10 to $15 apiece. Most of Goose Creek candles are very good and the shipping speed from Kentucky to LA was OK but slow compared to Amazon Prime. Most all of the Tuscany brand are mediocre in my opinion, but some are pretty good. None of them smelled like South Carolina though :-)

My most purchased candle of ALL TIME!! I am sensitive to artificial scents (like walking past B&BW and getting a headache) and this scent is so incredible. Also a great idea to gift as it comes in a really cute box.

I liked the entire theme of the homesick candle and is a great thoughtful present for whoever it may be. However I purchased the Iowa candle and it was great except the smell or scent of the candle was not something reminiscent of Iowa and the smell possibly soybeans was not one I’d want in my house.P.S the Georgia candle was great though so I it comes down to the individual candle just wasn’t a fan

My fiance bought me one of these candles on our first anniversary when I was super homesick of Arkansas. I loved it so very much. This is now my go-to gift for someone when they live far from where they grew up at. The candle lasted a long time (probably longer than over candles). This one smelled really good (every one I've bought has smelled amazing). These are such a good purchase, definitely buy one.

Smells like fresh rainfall on a warm summer day, spring awakening all plant life, laundry dried on a clothesline…smells like Michigan! It’s not overpowering but has a clean, fresh scent. We received this as a gift in a basket that was Michigan themed. This was our favorite piece. We put it under a candle warmer and it smells 2 floors with magnificence!! We ordered 3 more…we will never go without this candle!

I’ve purchased this Homesick Florida candle several times now, and my newest candle does not smell the same as previous ones. I am not sure if the formula changed but I am so disappointed, as the previous ones were absolutely perfect. Go back to the previous recipe, Homesick!
