Q: Does the disk/paper on top of the cap change color with the increased moisture content?

There is no paper or disc on top. Instead the desiccant itself in the cap changes color to let you know its time to bake it dry again. From dark blue to nearly black when dry to a near pink when wet.

Q: Can I recharge this with an air fryer?

Yes, that would work better than an oven. Good idea BTW.

Q: How long and at what temp works best?

Beads can be Reactivated by Placing in the Oven for 0.5 to 2 hours at 200 to 250F Or Microwave for 10 Minutes at Defrost Mode; Don't use over 250F in the Oven; Depending on the beads' condition, they may take shorter than the recommended time; Please check the beads' color periodically

Q: What color indicates "fully charged"?

Orange is the color that you want. Blue means that it is used up and needs to be recharged
