Dehydrate the water and it will fit in a single cup. Just make sure you center the cup in the pool when you rehydrate it or you'll have a flood.

Q: are they clear or cloudy? Mixed reviews and photos are confusing.

It's totally clear. The reviews about it not being clear is from a seller which didn't sell the Comfy Package brand but China garbage. Make sure you buy from the COMFY PACKAGE seller.
