Super Portable and an Amazing OCF Light.
I have three of these and am ecstatic with this light. I currently own 12 Godox lights ranging from speed lights up to a AD600 pro. I literally haven’t picked up my AD300,AD400 or AD600’s in months and have been exclusively using my AD100’s. With a VND filter in my lens, I can stay within sync speed and get a full power flash, while shooting a wide open aperture in full sun and still have enough power for a proper exposure. These are super portable, weight the same as a speed light and produce amazing results. The only downside is all of my Godox flashes are a little blue, in the 6300-6400K range but easily corrected in Lightroom or ACR.

I love it
It’s hard to look at a small flash like this and see that price tag and not think “that seems a little much”. And I agree. However, since I bought this, it is my go-to flash.I’m a portrait photographer and I love the rechargeable battery (having to buy AA batteries for my speedlights gets old). I also love the form factor, both that it’s round and that it’s just bigger than a soda can. I love that it has a built in modeling lamp. It’s got all the features I want (High speed sync, etc) and fits right in my camera bag. It’s pretty durable too, I don’t drop it a lot or anything but I don’t keep it in its nice padded case either. I toss it in a backpack or my camera bag, wherever. In my studio I do have higher watt strobes, and I still use this with them as a hair light or background light. And because my entire collection is Godox, they all work flawlessly with my x2t trigger. If I go on location for a shoot, if I bring one flash it’s this one. The 100ws light is bright enough at golden hour to replicate sunlight, and at midday in bright sun it works great to fill in shadows. It makes my life easier, and now I don’t have to carry extra AAs with me everywhere. I charge my camera battery and my flash battery and I’m good to go.Now is $200 a lot for what is essentially a speed light? Yes and no. But at 100ws, internal battery and modeling lamp, I’d say it’s a better value than a speed light at 65ws, needing AA batteries and no modeling lamp for $90.Personally, I recommend it.

Adds the perfect oomph
This product is incredible! It's incredibly easy to use and to connect to an existing flash or remote, you pretty much just need to put them on the same channel and voila! The flash is great, offering just a little more punch than the V1S and controlling the distance more than an on camera flash, while carrying the weight of a 300Disappontingly enough, it has a comparable battery to the 300 when always on, which was a little frustrating out in the field, but when on strobe would probably last longer than the 300

Love these, especially with built in cooling fans to help prevent overheating. Bright modeling light too.

Lightes portable flash unit .
Lightes portable flash unit for on the go work. Very good battery life. Slightly more power than your on camera flash. My on camera flash is a aboout 75ws this flash unit is 100ws...but becuase of its portability it is significantly more useful in delivering its power output because you can get much closer to your subject. Using a large modifier will cut quite a bit of flash power so I would not use a umbrella or softbox larger than 20-24 ". One on camera godox unit and two of these units can work in 95% of my shooting scenes.
