Best indoor solution at this price
This was bought as a short term solution due to house renovations, did the job well. We've always had a loft aerial which as the changeover to digital was implemented a signal booster box was required to work well. Renovations meant we'd need a substitute for a few weeks. This has done a decent job, bringing in around 80 + channels compared to the 124 we had before.People need to be realistic about these indoor jobs, they are never going to be as good as an outdoor or loft aerial. No matter how much boost or amplification is used they cannot make up for walls, low positioning or electrical interference.I've had to help a few friends out with reception issues over the years, this item is about as good as it gets.Even gets HD stuff well. Try rotating it though as this changes signal strength on some channels.

Amazing it is brilliant
I'm not one for writing reviews but this aerial is amazing.I have a fitted aerial on my house and i have always had trouble receiving tv signals.sometimes it's ok but alot of the time the picture breaks up badly. My brother recomended this aerial to me as he uses it in his spare room.Last night the signal was so bad we couldn't watch anything, so i thought oh i have this aerial, so i got it out of the box and just put it on the shelf next to the tv, plugged the aerial plug into the tv with the adapter supplied, and the usb into a port on the tv and hey presto what a percect picture.i checked the signal strength in the settings and for the 1st time ever we have 100% quality & 100% signal.the most i've ever had from my fixed aerial is about 80%the aerial looks neat just sitting on the shelf even though it comes with a wall mount i don't need it.it's slim and just slots in beside the books and yopu wouldn't even know it's there.would highly recommend this product amazing.

Does what it says it will
This aerial is easy to install and works pretty well. However, it only gives me 60% signal when I live fairly close to a transmitter. My problem is that I cannot place the aerial close to a window as no windows face in the direction of the transmitter. Indoor aerials simply aren't as good as exterior aerials, but this product is great for what it is and works much better than the unamplified versions. I tried one of those "mouse pad" aerials first and only got 40% signal strength.

Was working fine
I just removed a huge TV Ariel from the back of my house, which was causing me a lot of hassle. During windy days I could hear it knocking around, in the summer pigeons would always sit on it causing a mess. The Ariel was excellent in terms of signal so I didn't think an indoor TV Ariel like this would work. I was wrong, it picked up channels from the auto scan on my TV just like that. Picture quality is very good and stable. Had to play around with the positioning of the Ariel, found it best works near a window. EDIT - Was working fine, now glitchy at times. Also when I automatically scan for channels it changes from picking up no channels most of the time to then randomly picking up some. The number of channels picked up changes on each scan, sometimes more some less.

It didn't work properly
Even though it's very easy to install and it has a signal booster, it failed to pick up basic channels like BBc or ITV. I placed the antenna high up and near a window as it was recommended. A cheaper similar antenna worked perfectly in the same spot so I know it was the device, not the location.

effective indoor aerial
My old indoor aerial stopped working with my new smart TV. Although reasonably close tothe transmitter, my home is surrounded by tall concrete buildings. I still mainly watch terrestrial channels, and record on to my PVR, hence the indoor aerial. It took about 10 minutes to install, and find the optimal position, and reception is perfect on all the channels, including the digital ones. Iam very satisfied with my purchase, and it was a very reasonable price

Great little product
I needed an amplified indoor aerial to replace a broken "One For All" unit. We live approximately 12 miles from the nearest transmitter and have always needed an amplified indoor aerial for our bedroom TV. I saw the good reviews and decided to give it a go. It's very small and compact and will fit in a very small space. Testing the unit out, I connected up the amplifier power lead to a USB wall plug and found that I got just as strong a signal on the low power setting as on the high. Then, just out of curiosity, I disconnected the power and to my great surprise found that I was still getting around 80% signal - what a result. Let me just say something - the amplified aerial I previously had would only give a usable signal when the adjustable gain was turned up to max, and even then it could be temperamental and require fiddling with the adjustable "loop". This new unit performs better with no powered amplification at all! I'm not sure how, I guess it's just a bit better laid out inside. The odd thing is that after tidying all the cables away and moving the unit to the back of the shelf (further away from any windows) the signal went up to 100% :))The only minor niggle for me was that after screwing on the F-type to Co-ax adapter (supplied), the overall connector length meant that it was a very tight fit due to the geometry of the television's plastic case. I've ordered a 90-degree adapter for under £3 which will avoid putting strain on the lead.I can't overstate how impressed I am with this aerial, and how angry I am that I put up with the inferior One for All predecessor.

Works well
This is the third aerial I have bought from Geekera. This one is in the bedroom. We also have one in the kitchen and another on our main TV in the living room. For the price they are amazing aerials, they work straight out of the box, although its probably best to retune your TV after hooking the aerial up. We get all the usual channels including Freeview and HD. I did try a more expensive brand at one point (After the other half managed to pull the lead out of the aerial - its not designed to come out). It was useless compared to these, so went to a charity shop and another Geekera was bought.
