Not as good as I had hoped 😔
I bought my Kirby ultimate G used back in 2017 and it had the original brush roller from when it was made in 2003. Here is my slight disappointment with this new brush roller, I thought it would be stiffer, it’s more sparse :( however it’s better than the 15 year old one that was in the machine! It should last about 10 years. Would I buy it again? Maybe but I am a little disappointed that it’s not that much better than the original one. If you don’t mind the softer bristles this would be totally fine or if you would like stiffer ones I would do a little more research 🙂

The Brushroller adjusters were on the wrong ends. Installing the roller that way would not allow the green rotation light to light ,180 Degrees off .I expect a hell of a lot more quality control from Kirby ,a smuck start up company ,maybe ,Not Kirby.Very teed off , after paying $30.00 plus for a piece of crap . I'm thinking of returning it .Unless I,m compensated for taking it to a local vac shop to correct ,if possible. I will call shop tomorrow to see what it costs to undo the error .

Belt No Longer Slips - Works Like New
Our Sentria is around 10 years old and it seemed to need a new belt more often, and you could not put it as low as we used to without it starting to slip--even with a new belt. Finally I decided to try a new roller, as the old one had a very smooth section where the belt is. The new roller completely fixed the slipping issue. I had an old belt and with the new roller it worked 10 times better than the old roller. The new roller appears to be the very same as the old one. Bristles seem very similar in length, maybe a little softer. If your Kirby keeps slipping when you put the roller down, try a new roller. It totally did the trick for us, and it works like it used to. Apparently over the last ten years we put it "too low" too many times, causing the belt to slip and over time that rubbed as smooth groove in the old roller. The new one does the Trick.
