If you had a cast, and wore the glovestix over night with socks, would/should it dissipate the smell?

Theoretically it could work, but you would probably need to insert the stix between the cast and your skin for it to be most effective. That will help it attack the smell and moisture at the source.

how often do you need to replace the inserts?

Hi there, we recommend you replace the inserts approx every 3 months but everyone is different. Because their main job is to soak up moisture, it depends how much moisture is present each time and how often the gear is used. Our average customer is 3-4 months but we do have some on a 2 month cycle and some that change them every 6 months or even longer. I hope that helps give you a better idea :)

Do they work in ski gloves?

Work in my gloves and boots. Mostly use them in my snowboard boots

"Where is this used?"

My son uses them with his lacrosse gloves (similar to hockey gloves). Each glove gets one side of the stick. The cord between is flexible, so you can adjust for different items if needed. Definitely makes a difference in stink level!

Works great!

Lifesaver!!

I was skeptical that it would work as my son’s cleats smelled horrible. But these things work amazing. It did take a couple of days due to how strong the smell was. But the smell is completely gone now. Super easy to use and very effective.

Helped to neutralize the odor.
