No, there are pre-drilled holes.

Q: How sturdy is it? Need to put two monitors and a laptop on the desk. Also will it wobble when typing on keyboard on desk? Thanks

I have two thin 22-inch monitors on the bar table. The monitors fit easily on the table. The bar table also has enough space to hold a 17-inch laptop along with the two monitors, and the sturdiness of the table has never been an issue. The table does not wobble when I type on a keyboard. The bar table functions well as a standing work desk for me. If your two monitors are the older models of bigger, heavier monitors, then I don't know whether the bar table would work for you. Make sure that the dimensions of the table top of the bar table will accommodate your two monitors and laptop.
