Hi James, This rear shifter is only compatible with the following rear Shimano derailleurs: RD-M772-GS RD-M772-SGS RD-M592-SGS RD-M4000-SGS RD-M3100-SGS RD-M3000-SGS RD-M2000-SGS (32T≤Largest sprocket ≤36T) This rear shifter has no impact on your front derailleur, therefore, it doesn't matter what FD model you have in the front.
