They write so well!! None of them came broken, and they are SO pretty omg. I've tried a lot of glass dip pens, and these are the best, and it's such a good value for the money. Only thing is not all the lights work, but that doesn't matter, they're gorgeous without them and I find the flashing lights distracting anyway, lol.Get them!! You'll love em.

These pens were packaged nicely and arrived safely with no breakage. They are 100% glass, they do not have flat metal nibs attached like cheaper dip pens. Instead the tip is whorled glass, integral to the piece.All the pens arrived with soft plastic tip protectors and they were rolled in bubble wrap, good idea.Unfortunately, one of the six pens was very slightly chipped at the tip during manufacture. This makes its tip drag and catch on my paper, and splotch the W&N ink, so I will have to try to sand off its sharp edge.But all in all they're lovely to hold, very pretty things. Thanks to small variations in their tips, I noted nice variation in the lines they make (thicker to thinner) which is good for calligraphy or script by hand.Not as perfect or magnificent as my favourite glass dip pen which was handmade in Murano/Venice -- and priced accordingly -- but these pens are good value for the money and fully acceptable for what they are. Very nice starter set for an art journal enthusiast or greeting card maker.

Such a fun way to use ink! I love how the grooves in the nibs hold a lot of ink so you can draw for quite a while without having to dip again. And they never dripped on me! They are also very pretty and super easy to clean.My only "complaint" is that all of the pens are the same line weight - which is on the thinner side. I had hoped that they'd all draw different line thicknesses, but that's not enough of a downside to take a star off or anything.These pens are great!
