I had an old elastic brace that lasted forever but needed replacement. I could not find the same brand, so looked for a similar one and found this. Reviews complain about being too small, but after long deliberation I decided to go for size small, as my previous brace was. Despite the fact that size small was advertized for kids, I took the risk and I was right. Perfect fitting. I wear size 6 shoes and have a little wider than regular ankle. The design of this type of brace is brillant, because it is not bulky like many others that use velcro, and it resembles a regular wrapping, without the added bulk of the several layers around and around.It is tricky to put on, and for many people it would seem to be a mission impossible, but as soon as you find the right technique to ‘install’ it and remove it, you would love it and feel the support you need. As for durability, I would report later. from reviews it seems to fray easily; time will tell..

I destroyed my ankle a year ago and it’s still recovering, of all the braces and wraps be I’ve tried(over 20) this one is by far the most comfortable and supportive. Plus my shoes fit perfectly.. Probably not good for an acute injury but definitely supportive enough to soothe chronic pain and fatigue.

Bought a size up assuming some swelling. Chart said Med, I ordered him a large. Good thing I did. Even getting it on, would have been a no go with a Medium. My advice is order up a size and if you suffer edema, maybe order up 2 sizes. Simple and it works quite well for a little extra support. Hand washes great. Don't put this in the dryer people ... you should know better.

I went by my shoe size 8.5 and ordered a medium. I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to get this on. After about 5 minutes of struggling, I finally got it on. It’s just as difficult to get off. I don’t know if this is meant for children instead?? I like the fact that it blends in better than the black one I bought at a local Target. But, the black one by 3M seems to have a bit more support, but couldn’t find one in a less obvious color. I’m a little disappointed in this one. I think I need to keep looking.

I ordered this for general ankle support. I wear a women’s 12, mens 11 1/2. I ordered the large per the size chart included. It is way too tight. And if I’d really had a sprained ankle, there would be no way I could have got this on my foot. I’m going to have to order up a size so the circulation in my foot will come back.
