Q: Will this fit a 2020 Chieftain?

Yes will for a 2020 Chieftain, but be forewarned if you have or try to use factory backrest it will not work. The knob is just slightly to high and you can’t fit backrest completely in as knob is in way.

Q: Why would you not list the actual specs of a bolt, which is the most important part? You put the dimensions which is barely helpful at all.

Fits the strap at the rear fender just fine.

It should, I believe the size of the thread is standard..hope this help..
