ORICO 2577U3-BK 2.5" Hard Drive Enclosure USB3.0 to SATA III, 2TB Capacity for Business Design

🤏 A Preview to purchase :*******************************🔹️I have been using many external Hard disk enclosures of terabyte & orico brands for quite some time now.🔹️Recently i upgraded my seagate baracudda pro 1 TB solid state hybrid drive to 1TB Solid state drive , hence the need for a new enclosure came.🔹️I am already having the transparent version of the enclosure & thus decided to buy this for a change.Here are my observations for it.👍Orico is a brand of repute & high reliability in this hard disk enclosure sector.👍The enclosure comes made of sturdy ABS grade plastic with grid texture design which gives it a fingerprint free & anti-skid design.🔹️ It is surely a tough enclosure but regarding shockproofing & impact bearing, i am not very sure, yet best to handle it with care.👍The enclosure comes with a tool free design & the hard disk can be just fitted in to the sata connector by sliding in and out of the enclosure back cover.👍The enclosure supports 2.5 inch laptop drives only upto 2 TB capacity.👍You can use it with a Hard disk or a hybrid disk or a solid state drive with sata connector.👍The enclosure has a dual color led indication at the top which lights up blue upon connection & intermittent blue red while data transfer.🔆 The enclosure is uasp supported which stands for usb attached scsi ptotocol which basically adds an extra speed for data transfer over simple usb 3 connection.👍I achieved around 80 to 115 MB/s read write rates easily which is very good as per speed limitations of a sata hard disk.♦️ Got it for 463 bucks which i feel is reasonable for the price.🎯 Highly satisfied & probably the best sata Hard disk enclosure in the market.👍🏻Surely & highly recommended.♻️ If you find the review helpful , click helpful button below.

Way better than earlier gen hard disk cases!!!Its surprising that at this price range, its having so commendable finish & quality. It was very easy to place the sponges (pics attached), and then mount the hard disk inside. It has sliding mechanism and you do not require any screw driver to open and close the case.The opening lid of the case is tight enough and gives a feeling of rugged build quality which is a plus. Moreover, it can handle both 2.5'' normal hard disk and also the 2.5'' SSD drive. The sponges provided make sure that the hard disk doesn't get lose and lays intact without moving inside the case.It also has light indicators (blue while connected and red while data transfer happening), I was able to get 240 MBPS while moving data out of hard disk and 160 MBPS while copying data in to the hard disk.Overall a nice product. I have been using hard disk cases since so many years and this one is by far the best.

It is not mentioned in the product description, but my laptop attached it as a "UAS enabled storage" and I got 100 MB/sec of a large file over a USB 3.0 slot and a conventional 5400 rpm hard disk. With SDD I'm sure it would go up much more but I didn't measure. The plastic case is of decent quality, and it comes with 2 sponges to mitigate shocks on drops, but I didn't know where to stick them so I made a best guess. Got it for Rs. 558 a couple days back and it arrived at the promised time.

Overall best quality product, Value for money, Cwble quality is good, Easy to install. Fitting perfect with provided foam in the box.

Pros:✅ straightforward instalation.✅ USB 3.0 compatible.✅ A basic anti-vibration sticky pad includedCons:❌ Made entirely of average quality plastic, so feels flimsy❌ Once the vibration damping pad is installed the hard drive will sit securely, but the door can come off if accidentally dropped.For the price, it's a decent hard drive case. Buy it for the functionality, not the safety/durability.
