Works pretty good. It works best when you have the sweet sweat stick to rub on your belly then put the waist trimmer on. You will definitely see some sweat once you're done with a good cardio workout.

I had the black with pink and the material seems different.

I am 5'2", 150 lbs, athletic build, and purchased the small. My waist at the smallest spot is 27", and the ssize small fits with ~6-8" of fabric overlap, when stretched snug. I purchased this as a "stage 2 to stage 3" post-op stomach compression band. I am using this 3 weeks after having laser lipo (all incisions are healed closed). This definitely makes you sweat and I can see some post-op swelling going down pretty quickly! Comfortable! I recommend this :)
