The canvas-like material doesnt do much to keep your warm. 3M thinsulate is kind of a gimmick at this point. May work as a layering piece but was hoping the Carhartt reputation for quality would tie over to their more expensive pieces and found myself disappointed.

Jacket arrived in perfect condition. Feels and looks durable just like any other carhartt jacket. Fit runs a little big. I’m 6’0 and order the tall size the length is perfect. Only complaint I have is the jacket is not as warm as I thought it would be. Next time I will order the Sherpa lined jacket for the colder weather.

It's a Carhartt. Great quality, great fit and well made.

This is a roomy, durable and warm jacket. I think it is pricey, but I suppose we are paying somewhat for the brand name. But all in all, I would say it is worth it. I bought a size larger than what I normally wear so I could comfortably put a vest on underneath for very cold weather, and I am glad I did. The jacket I have is plenty big, but still does not "swallow" me. I like the large and easy to use zipper, the insulated hood. A reasonable price I suppose for a well made jacket. It is also made in the USA, or at least not in China, if I understand correctly, and I am willing to pay more for USA made products. I recommend the jacket for men who have to be active outdoors in cold weather.
