This disc is tough. It's shaped like the old Master Frisbees I threw when I was young. It even has the grasping grooves on the underside. I am remembering how to make it float so my dog can catch it more easily. It's big enough for Riley to pick it up after it lands flat on pavement. Like I stated previously, it's tough. It scratches but he hasn't bitten through it.

This is the best frisbee I have bought for my buddy he tends to destroys frisbee in a short period of time just catching it. Usually in the first play session the frisbee's will have teath marks in the frisbee but not this frisbee after 2 days of 4 to 5 play session's per day. I highly recommend this frisbee for your dog.

It's PERFECT...

I've purchased dozens of these discs in the past and will continue as my german shepherd love's to play frisbee. They last the longest of any that I've tried. However, I think that Franklin may have changed their formula of plastic. The last 6 disc's purchased crack and break off along the edges.

This is pretty great! Just what I was expecting. I wanted a frisbee to play with friends and family. It flies well and can reach a long distance depending on angle and wind strength. I think it'd work for fun with dogs too! I like that it is light weight yet sturdy and thus easy to take with on trips to the beach, park, camping, etc. I definitely look forward to using it more often once all this cold weather passes once again! Definitely like it enough to recommend and have no complaints at all!

I used to play ultimate frisbee, and I lost the other one I had, so I tried this one; the design isn't ergonomic as you'll be able to see on the video, because the edges are too curby and deep you'll have difficulties throwing the forehand, and when you throw the backhand it's going to be wobbly because of the design of the the disc. So if your plan is to buy so you can play ultimate frisbee or practice your backhand and forehand, this isn't for you.
