Perfect Carry On Bag
Fits a lot, especially if you pack in cubes.

Good build material but back to the drawing board
The build materials is solid as always with B&R, as others have mentioned there is no perimeter zipper which is a downfall. I have attached this unit to my b&R carry-on and B&R checked baggage with their interlocking system but you have to put the strap through the carry handle as there’s nowhere else to fix or lock it in to their existing system. With the carryon it was clumsy, this carrier was too big and ended up, dragging on the floor. I personally did have no issue the past 5 times with the hangers coming out of the hanger strap but I can see how it would be possible. I also ask the airline to check this in one of their plastic bins. Most baggage handlers are rough and I suppose Briggs needs to go back to the drawing board and accommodate for some of the cruel aspects of handling. This carrier is still better than what I had before

So useful...
This has become my go-to carry-on bag. After using it a few times, I'm just amazed at how much stuff I can pack in it. And B&R really is a standard-bearer for ruggedness. I'm still happily using two other B&R bags that are do old, I really don't remember when I bought them (think, 20+ years).

Bad design, terrible products
The only thing keeping the garment bag folded for handling and checking onto a plane is one small snap which is inadequate under routine handling. The strap for securing the hangers inside the bag also comes undone with normal handling. The first time we checked the bag it came unfolded in transit and the strap the holds the hangers also came undone. All of our hanging clothes were bunched up in the bottom of the bag. As we were already travelling when we discovered these problems, I was forced to use one of my belts to secure the bag closed for our remaining flights.

Good quality but functionality could be better
Solid garment bag of the usual B&R quality. However, I found 2 aspects that could have improved it for me considerably. First, it has no zipper around the perimeter unlike some other - much less costly - garment bags. That zipper helps to keep the bag together tighter, while in this bag the sides are open. It somewhat limits its functionality and also looks not as good aesthetically. Second, it has no capability of attachment to a rolling luggage. I’ve seen this on some other bags and it was quite handy at the times when you don’t want to carry the garment bag separately or when you have a few bags. I must admit that I just assumed that the bag of B&R quality would have something like this and I was disappointed to find that it didn’t. I guess this could be easily fixed with a travel clip strap, but when you are paying the B&R price you shouldn’t be looking to use some additional accessories to make it all work, IMHO. Overall, I’ll keep the bag for its quality and guarantee.
