Glad I found this replacement key fob for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. It was easy to reprogram, just follow the steps that come with the key fob. Took less than 5 minutes. It looks exactly like the original key fob. Buttons work great and it is easy to use. Price was affordable and it is sturdy. I definitely recommend if you’re in need of a replacement.

My driver side (the only door with key hole). Silverado door lock doesn't open all the time So in a pinch this will open my passenger door! Needless to say it works! And was so easy to program. Thank God I found this!! Ps.. before I got this I was in my way to work and my driver door handle wouldn't open. I had no way to open any of the doors because only driver side has key hole.. so now in emergency situation I'll be able to get into my truck. Peace of mind until I actually get the door repaired!! Easy to program

The media could not be loaded. I only had one fob for my 2007 GMC Sierra and the key shops wanted a bunch of money to sell and program a new one. This fob had good reviews and was only $10 so I gave it a shot. After watching an instruction video it took me about a minute to program it to work with my truck. It looks better than my worn out original fob and works just like new.It was a bargain and would not hesitate to order from this company again.

Works great and decent quality

The MechanMagic Remote Key Fob Replacement was purchased as a replacement after my husband misplaced his for his Chevy Silverado pickup. It came with the 3v Lithium button cell battery. It fully stated the vehicle compatibility of the product on Amazon. It was very easy to program after watching a short installation video and it only took about 2 minutes to have it set up and working for his truck. He has had his for a little over 8 months now and it still works as well as day one and the buttons are still very ledgible. My husband likes to simply keep the fob in his pocket to keep from always having to carry his bulky set of keys. It was a great value as well for just under $10, especially when the dealerships sometime charge hundreds of dollars to replace and program lost key fobs.

Didn't work on my 2008 Silverado. The "easy" programming was anything but easy. My truck doesn't have a relearn remote when I held the trip button. I also tried the turning the key to on and holding lock/unlock buttons simultaneously. Took a mallet to it and salvaged the battery for my one remaining fob. A one star is waaay too high.

Works perfectly and was very easy to setup.
