Q: Does the windsock come with the swivel?

Yes, the two we've ordered did (May 17 and Nov 17). They did not come with a pole. We’ve been very happy with ours, and we get pretty good winds here in the high desert.

Q: Are the bands/stripes placed correctly to agree with how an official wind sock works? It should bend at divisions at certain speeds.

It is definitely not an official windsock. In addition to the stripes being wrong (should be alternating red and white bands of approximately equal length), it cannot possibly function like an official windsock due to the way it is attached to the pole.

Q: Does this come with a swivel and the small piece of post ?

no,. i used a snap swivel like one on a small dog leash. i used a 21 ft. length of 3/4 " pipe for the pole. great, so far.
