I am trying to find a 2nd dry cat food for my cat. He is on a dental food diet and really likes the dental food, but his teeth are in good shape now and I'd like to find another food to mix in with his dental food, preferably one with smaller kibble. The Crave cat food smells very good and fresh, and has good ingredients. I thought for sure my cat would gobble it up. It does have smaller kibble than his current food, I would call it medium size kibble. So for the cat's reaction: He did try it and ate a little I have to give him credit for trying instead of just turning up his nose at it. And he seemed to like it at first so I was pretty excited. But then he would not eat any more beyond that first try and back to his dental food. So what I do is leave a second little bowl with some Crave in it next to his other bowl. If he runs out of his dental food, he will eat some of the Crave. But he won't make a meal of it. Under other circumstances I might knock a star off for this, but the Crave food really does smell good for cat food and I see nothing wrong with it. The cat WILL eat some of it, just not a lot of it. Based on how picky he has become (was not like this when we got him a year ago), I still feel for him to even pick at it is a sign that it's still a good food. Plus, when he does eat some of it, it does not cause him any problems such as digestive issues, etc.

So that I would not waste the previous dry cat food I purchased, I had to mix the dry with the can food. I didn't want to mess with the wet cat food any more since its messy and stinks and wanted to switch to dry but she would only eat the dry if I mixed it with the can food. I had read a review about how another cat owner that had the same issue and she had stated that her finicky cat loved this dry food. Well to my surprise, my cat loves this food! I've tried different dry foods and she refused to eat it, but this dry food, she devours it. Its the only dry food I buy now and I don't have to mix it with wet food! I do treat her to wet food every now and then as a treat! I highly recommend this cat food! If you have a finicky cat, more than likely your fur baby will absolutely love this cat food!

Normally, I don’t write reviews for cat food since by the time I write the review; my cats have stopped eating that particular food. Since my cats have refused to eat wet cat food for the last couple of years, I needed to ensure they were getting nutritious food. One of my cats is overweight and the other one is very finicky with a sensitive stomach. She hates seafood and starts vomiting from beef.I found Crave which has real ingredients and no grains. The high protein is good for them. The fact that it just comes in a chicken flavor makes it ideal for the finicky one. They both don’t vomit as much anymore and the vet says they are both healthy so no vitamin deficiency. They do drink plenty of water. The kibble size is a good size. They have been eating Crave for at least 3 years twice a day and they are not getting tired or bored with it. I mistakenly bought the chicken and salmon mix one time and my finicky cat didn’t care. Unfortunately my overweight cat loves this too much and I have to measure it. He stands by his bowl waiting for huge next meal of it.I love the fact that it comes in a 10 lb bag making it economical and means I don’t have to buy a bag every couple of weeks. I also like the fact that it gets delivered so I don’t have to carry it up flights of stairs.If you’re looking for a nutritious food that aren’t the typical supermarket brands, this is the one. I just wish they had a diet version.

Good cat food, however recently changed their packaging to a cheap bag but didn’t lower price. Inchresting 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh. My. God - my three cats who are picky AF, I have tried to get them to eat more healthy nutritionally dense foods to no avail. [I have yet to find a healthy wet food they'll happily devour]. But I got this today just a few hours ago with no real hopes that they'd like it. Put a bowl out next to their usual favorite Friskies and Purina [which they changed something, no meat bits, and cats haven't been as enthused about]. Within a few minutes, from across the room came Asher sniffing his way to the bowls, sniffed at his usual faves, ignored them and went to the bowl of Crave and started chowing down like he was starving! Then upon waking from her nap, my other picky Queen, bypassed the Purina and Friskies and went right for Crave. Like what!!!!! I'm so excited to have found a healthier dry food as I worry about their health and the junk in the name brands. The ultimate win will be when the 8 month old wakes up, will she go for it? Fingers crossed. Ecstatic, let me say.
