Camper sat nav
Had the previous model which worked well, have not used this yet but if it is as good as the previous model then I would recommend. You have the ability to enter the length, width, height and weight of you vehicle to hopefully avoid those single track roads, low bridges and weight limits.

Great device but info overload
A great unit that I do recommend- it not only navigates, it also rings alarms when (e.g.) the distance to the front car is not safe (a function that can drive you nuts in Holland, where everyone cuts into you safety space. Only negative are the ahead icons on the screen. The unit constantly shows me campsites, petrol stations, viewing points, walking points, various campsites, other attractions etc. each with a big icon that (in scenic and touristy regions) cover even the road and all village/city names. I have not found a way to take these icons down- the “up-ahead” function is not controlling these icons. This overflow in information is irritating and a clear minus of this otherwise great unit.PS: I found a way to remove the icons- however, not easy to reproduce!

An excellent, large SatNav/Dashcam
I love the size of this SatNav/Dashcam, I drive various vehicles of differing sizes and this is suitable for cars, vans, trucks, campervans and HGVs. It automatically adjusts the maximum speed limit according to the vehicle profile and doesn't take you down unsuitable roads as long as you enter your vehicle dimensions. The video quality seems very good, although it is only 1080, not 4k. I assume this is down to the quality of software or processor. After the initial set up, which takes ages, it is very easy to use, a slightly different interface to previous models, but still easy to use. A nice feature compared to my old model is the easy to see and use save icon. It's a shame Garmin didn't stick with the previous magnetic mount, I had two of those to make switching between vehicles easy, now they've reverted to a fiddly clip system. It is nice and slim and doesn't obscure drivers vision, even in a car.

Terrible product, offers so much and delivers little
I am really disappointed with this Garmin, so called camper van, 795. After being pleased with previous Garmin's, this one is a huge disappointment. It promises a lot but delivers very little. Firstly, it fails miserably as a sat nav, which is its main purpose. Constantly telling us to come off the fastest route to take longer, indirect and inappropriate routes for a MH. This happened despite whatever changes I made to the navigation menu. Despite the Motorhomes dimensions being programmed in, it would take us on routes too narrow or small for the MH, including low bridges. It was actually dangerous. The traffic warning alarm would go off randomly; the "forward collision" warning would go off even when there was no vehicle in front and the lane departure was also tempermental. It has a potentially very handy campsite finder programmed in but again this proved to be almost useless. It rarely found a campsite and took us to several that do not exist. We were on the road for four weeks and the Sat Nav was useless for most of the journey. Another huge irritation is that it is necessary to update the software and maps, which it predicted would take 46 hours. Nowhere does it inform you this is necessary to do before you leave or that it can take so long to complete. As this Sat Nav was not only disappointing but actually dangerous I would seriously expect my money back but unfortunately because we were away for four weeks and I purchased some week before we left, the return window had closed. A useless and potentially dangerous Sat nav that delivers on very little of its potential..

Won't fit A Class motorhomes.
Not suitable for A Class motorhomes. Item would not mount on dashboard (due to dashcam) without screen being upside down.Would need binoculars and arms like an orangutan to operate if mounted on windscreen.Shame Garmin designer's ignored this sector when producing the mount. Would have been perfect if option to dash mount.
