Work well
Bought these for my cattery for a couple of older cats that like to sit on a heat pad.I bought these in preference to a slightly cheaper version because I knew these work well with no problems.Easy to shove in a microwave and pop back in their cover. Stay warm for a very long time.Pleased with purchase.

Perfect for outdoor cat house
I bought this for a stray cat who I've started to look after. He sleeps outside in an insulated cat house, but I was worried about him in the cold weather. He loves this heat pad!! He sleeps on top of it every night. And it keeps his house nice and warm all night. It stays hot for hours, even outside. It's quite hard, so I wasn't sure if he'd like it, but he loves it. The cover is easy to remove and wash. And because there's no electricity involved, I feel safe leaving it in his bed at night. The pad itself gets quite hot, but inside the cover it's a nice temperature. You'd definitely need to use the cover with it.

Does the job and keeps our lurcher warm at night
This was bought as a replacement for an old hot water bottle which we were using at night for our dog. It is a good size and is warm in 5 minutes in the microwave. Dog seems to like it (often will rest her head on it). Just take it out of its cover, put it in the microwave for the right time (there is a sticker on it telling you how long depending on the power of the microwave) then put it back in its cover.Pros: Super easy to use, doesn't take long to warm up, comes with a cover for the heatmatCons: Doesn't quite last the 10 hours as advertised but still has a bit of warmth after about 8 hours.Just be aware that the heatpad is solid, so not necessarily something a pet is guaranteed to sleep on top of, but great to put in a bed or crate to generate a bit of extra warmth on those cold nights.

Reliably Good!
Have now bought two of these snuggle pads to use in outdoor kennel for a feral cat over winter. You can heat up easily in the microwave and they hold their heat well for a few hours. The cover can be easily removed to be washed.

They are brilliant!
I would give these heat pads 10 star's if I could.I've been using hot water bottles for over 30years for my cats, without accident to them thankfully but I've managed to burn myself a couple of times!I recently decided that it was time to stop with the hot water before I do myself more mischief. I couldn't have anything that plugs in,as one of my younger boy cats loves nothing better than chewing appliance leads. I saw these pads, they sounded ideal and the reviews were really good, that left one dilemma, I didn't have a microwave. To cut a long story short,I now have a microwave at the ripe old age of 50 something and 6 of these microwave pads(I'm planning on getting two more as well)! The reason I need so many is mainly because they stay warm for so long and they need to be cooled down before you reheat them.If I heat them at breakfast time, they are still warm at bedtime and the instructions state they should be at room temperature before you heat them again. They are heavier than I imagined but this isn't an issue. I use Vetbed in the cave's on the various cat tree's and I put the heat pads under this. I have Devon Rex's and they are obsessive about finding heat sources all year round! They absolutely love these pads and I love the fact that I know they are going to be warm all day,no more constantly refilling the hot water bottles!I was waxing lyrical about the pads and my sister got one for her Yorkie and new pups, she is really impressed too! They genuinely stay warm for well past the 10hrs stated.I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Toasty
Bought for our cat who’s getting a bit old and achy. It is very hard but the cover softens it a bit and when under a blanket she is very happy to use it. It stays toasty warm for hours which makes it very economical to use.

Rock Hard
As it's now getting colder in the UK we bought this as a moveable heat pad for our cat; I also bought one for my mother in law to use for her elderly dog. We noted the reviews mention that the pad is 'rock hard' and thought folks might be exaggerating - unfortunately not!The heat pad is easy to use - being the approximately size of a dinner plate it fits in any microwave pretty easily and warms up in about 6mins. As for the reported 10hr duration - that is debatable, but it does hold it's heat quite well. And as for using it for pets - our cat despite liking a firm surface to lay on, doesn't like it very much, even if we put it under a duvet or plenty of padding. Instead we tend to use it as a warming pad for the bottom of the bed rather like a hot water bottle, which works rather well.So we will keep it for use as a human 'bed warmer' but as for it being for the cat - suffice it to say we'll be looking for something else.
