Q: its described as red but pictured black. what colour did you get?

I received a RED one. It was pictured red when I ordered it and that's what I got. I posted a picture of this knife in red along with an explanation to clarify but it was removed. I believe the black one is available as a premium version with brass liners, whilst the red one has alloy liners.

Q: Will this fit in the small side holder of the felco f910+ leather holster?

Hi yes i would say so as it is not that bigger knife . The holster is big enough to handle Secateurs

This knife blade is made of good steel. Correctly sharpened it takes a razor edge. After honing I finish with a leather strop dressed with chrome cleaner. This will answer your pencil sharpening needs.
