Straight out of the box you get the charging unit + cable where all/any number of lights can be charged, 12 lights and twelve tubes that you can place around the light to create the effect of a larger candle and a remote control. They are really bright and make for a very effective display with a bit of creative imagination and certainly make late evening barbeques brighter and provide a nice ambience. In effect you are effectively limited only by your imagination as to how use these. Since we got them we've used them for BBQ's and a child's birthday party and pretty much everyone has commented on how they look as the night begins to fall as they begin to flicker. They charge in around 8 hours, and will give 6-8 hours life. I would thoroughly recommend these lights without hesitation.
