Yes it is metal and it is specific for the make and model and engine of the vehicle. This one fits 5.3L V8 engines and possibly others, but I am sure it would not fit on an Aveo. You are best off to take your car to an auto mechanic.

I used it on a 2005 Denali 6.0, so should be the same.

Q: Does this fit a 97 Buick park Avenue ultra supercharger 3.8

No clue, but I doubt it. I bought it for an '06 Chevy Silverado pickup with a 325 V8 and it fits perfectly.
