Aqua Bound Mata Ray Carbon - My first carbon paddle & will buy no other kind going forward. Pricey but Awesome! Feather light when comparing to my other aluminum paddles. Makes a big different on the arms & shoulder after a long day. The lock & length adjustment is secure & solid. The paddle feels good in the hands. Very well balanced. Oh, and it floats. The drip guards sit tight where you want them. The shaft texture is very neat. It’s kind of slightly rough & grippy, yet not hurt your hands. The only slightly disappointment is it didn’t come with a protective carrying bag. For a well known, well made, & somewhat costly paddle, a nylon bag with the company logo would be so nice for the proud owner. Didn’t take any point off for that though. Love it!

I purchased two for my wife and I. I thought my previous paddles (a different brand) were good, but these are even better. Hit the St Joseph Sound, near Honeymoon Island (Florida) today to try them out. Paddle is strong, yet lightweight. I was very impressed with the dual pin coupling where the two pieces fit together. Another plus … I reached out to their customer service department via email, and had a response within the day. EXCELLENT.

Someone broke the blade on my old paddle, so I found good ratings for this one and gave it a try. It shipped quickly and I used it on several long paddles from summer through fall.

This is my favorite paddle. Lightweight and great feather adjustment if needed. Definitely would buy again
