Arrived on time and adequately packaged. The springs were ultimately a perfect fit. Conceptually, replacing them was very easy. It does however require a fair amount of strength to initially stretch and hook the spring into place.

The springs were perfect, not for my application. The springs were 3/4” too small to operate the attic door opening and closing. Otherwise their perfect.

As advertised.

Made very well, just too long for the attic door I needed it for. I kept it and added it to my “extra stuff I might need someday” stash!

Doesn’t fir the average attic ladder

I liked the end hooks. They all were formed the same. I could not see any visible defects. With a spring of this size and strength it’s critical they are used within the stretch and mounting parameters. They easily carry the weight and makes closing and opening the storage area a breeze. I also liked the fit, ease of installation and sturdiness of this pair of springs.
