This is the ONLY Device I found which uses Sound and Light to scare animals away (Ultrasonic devices DO NOT work!). It has Solar to recharge the lithium batteries but, if used inside, has a USB 'C' cord plus batteries last 200 days in Standby. The provided Remote controls the Host Unit from well over the 32 feet specified as I tested 100-110 feet away. The Host Infrared motion sensors, sitting 6" above grade, activated motion 27 feet away at 39F (consistent with the 17-26 feet specified). Working Temperature Range is specified as -50F t0 122F with motion distance lowered in warmer daytime temperatures. If you want greater coverage, get multiple units as, instead of using multiple Remotes, you can program one Remote to control all Host units if desired.The 13 prerecorded Sounds are loud but if you desire your own sound or message, you can record 20 seconds of your own. Whenever you activate 24 hr. Day or 12 hr. Night sound/light, the Sound WILL play four (4) times while activating the three motion sensors BUT you can power off with Remote Control or Host unit control button. (I used the "Song" sound when testing so as not to alarm the Neighbors.) NOTE: If you shut the Host unit off, by pressing the Host control button 3 times, you CANNOT activate the Host with the Remote-Control unit. If you shut the Host unit off using the "D" button on the Remote, the Host can be turned back on to 24 hr. Day, 12 hr. Night or the Sound changed via the Remote Controller. So, you must first turn Host on before using Remote.

Got these for the coyote population in our area. Live on a farm and these are a great help to keep unwanted critters out of hen houses and barns. They have a really loud alarm yet not enough to annoy the neighbors. I have several around the property on fence posts. Easy to put up and take down!

Been working for about 1 year. Trying to keep deer out of my garden. Either it works or the deer moved on not sure, but I haven't seen any in my yard for months.

This item would not detect a person from 10' away. Claims to be 26' but I have yet to see anyone post that their unit gets that far of a range. Complete deal breaker for me. Going back too Amazon. Box was also dirty inside so they claimed to be selling me a new unit but that's not true.

It was perfect and loud

It worked perfectly for one full day and overnight. It rained that night, and the next day there was no volume. I had to put my ear against it to hear it at all. Recharged still no volume. because I had bought it during the winter months to use in the spring, I had past the return window, and I cannot find any way to contact the seller for Questions about the problem with it.

The media could not be loaded. If you want to scare not only yourself but whatever walks by and triggers the speaker, this is the thing for you! Extremely loud and startling gunshots and dog barking sounds. I love this thing!I really wanted a loudspeaker that I could record whatever I wanted into it and have it trigger when someone walks by. I’m using this for a non traditional way, it’s being used to scare people during Halloween!The speaker comes packaged with the main unit, user manual, power adapter USB cable, wireless remote control and a bag with mounting hardware. The main speaker is a see through red. I’m not sure why they chose red, I would have liked to see a black option. The speaker is slightly heavy and feels sturdy in my hand. I’m amazed at how small it is for how loud the speaker is. It’s startlingly loud so its doing it’s job!The user manual was rather difficult to read, it’s in another language it seems like..I was delighted to see that they included a QR code with a video on YouTube to see how to assemble the mounting hardware. The user manual doesn’t mention how to use the mounting hardware to attach to the speaker. On the other side of the speaker is a easy to understand control manual. It tells you how to do the certain functions and makes it easier than having to reference the user manual.I love that you can record your own sound. Simply press the record button and record your own custom sound. Or use the included shotgun and dog bark sound.The speaker lights up but I wouldn’t say strobes. The speakers see through plastic red face lights on and off with the sound. I would have liked to of seen an actual white strobe go off. There is a button to control sound volume as well as a play button. The power button turns the entire unit off.The motion sensor is very sensitive and works as it should. The remote also works and is actually easier to use that the buttons built into the front of the speaker. I enjoyed that they included the wireless remote.The top of the speaker has a rather large solar panel. I let it sit outside for a day and it was plenty charged up. I’m glad they included a option to charge via a USB cable just in case you have no sun or are putting the speaker somewhere dark. It’s very portable, you can place it anywhere.I feel like this is a great product and I’m getting alot of use out of it but it seems like a few fixes and it would be a great product. The user manual needs redone it’s hard to read. The front red plastic should be black and the strobe function should be a white strobe not red blinking lights. I would have liked to of seen a diagram on how to mount the speaker. Other than these little quirks it’s great, does what it says and is rather startling on the highest sound setting!
