Item fit on 2012 outback. Very easy to take old off and put new on. 20 min job and saved lots of money doing it myself. I believe I only needed a 10 mm wrench and a pair of scissors to cut the zip ties off. Easy. Now the trunk stay open and doesn’t fall on my head.

Easy to install, works great, and quality seemed to be good. Only thing I saw as an issue is that they each come in a sleeve to keep them compressed and the label for left and right side is hidden under the sleeve, so if you only need one opened, you have to hope you open the correct side or you uncompress both.

The description was a little misleading. It said it would fit and not fit a Porsche 996. I took a chance and these are a perfect fit for my 2004 911. It took only a few minutes to install with a flathead screwdriver and seem very high quality for a fraction of OEM cost. Would definitely purchase again if needed for a different vehicle.

These fit my SUV perfectly. The install was easy to do with instructions on youtube, and once installed there was an immediate change in the ability of the window to open. The only downside is that the new struts make a bit of a clacking noise, but I'm hoping this will mellow out with use. In all, these are great to fix busted struts.

Worked awesome for my 2019 Dodge Challenger. I'm not a handy man, so this sat on my counter for almost 2 months thinking it would be a whole ordeal to swap out. Literally took me 6min with a flat head screw driver. Pop off the ring clips, remove top and bottom from ball joint, and pop on the new ones. Only thing I needed was a stick to hold up the trunk while I removed the old ones. No longer will my trunk fall and hit me in the head. Very strong lift and holds up trunk lid; needs some effort to shut. Awesome for the price.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The rear window struts did an excellent job of opening and securing the rear window of my Highlander. They were a bit stronger than the original struts, but worked with no problems. Were extremely easy to install.

Installed in 5 minutes. Work perfectly. Manufacturer even has a website with instructional video! Inexpensive fix to a nagging problem.
