UMIACOUSTICS 4 PCS 2” Thick Acoustic Panels, Fiberglass Sound Proof Panels, Self-adhesive Sound Absorbing Panels for Studios, Office, Home Theater. (Black)

Used these on the slanted walls of my home theater. They look Great easy to install.

The media could not be loaded. I was transforming my office into a soundproof studio. I had 22 affixed on the Dallas and still had another 20 to go in the morning. Took me about 3 hours bc I had to unwrap each from plastic, then remove 6 adhesive backings carefully.However when I woke up, 15 of 22 fell off the wall onto my printer, my studio lights, the plant, a picture hanging underneath one.and even falling on each other. (See attached video)4 more cases were delayed. As soon as they showed up, I sent them back. They’re too$$$$$$ for me to try to figure out an alternative way of hanging that many. I have other unopened boxes I need to pack up and ship back.But can say, quality wise, they are sound and beautiful and sturdy. Just to heavy for the adhesion.

Placed them downstairs in a large open room to help with the surround sound speakers and you can tell a difference, for my particular room i might need to get a second set to get it even more crisp but these four still do great. Considering buying some white ones now also for my office.

Look everything is price relative here but these panels have significant drawbacks. Of course I ordered based on price for some reason sound panels can be quite expensive. Be known that the manufacturer expects to use double-sided tape on the back of the panels to adhere to the wall. I did not feel comfortable sticking tape on my nicely new painted walls so I drilled a very small hole to hang up with a nail. What I quickly found out is there's no solid frame in these panels it's just styrofoam inside. So with that said, they're a little bit tricky to work with if you don't want to use the tape.

I really liked these after hanging initially, followed all directions of wiping the walls with rubbing alcohol, followed a different reviewers suggestion of using command strips, etc. within 24 hours the first panel fell, hung it back up and it fell again that night, damaging things below it. Then today a different one came unstuck and fell. So far 2 out of the 4 purchased have fallen and it really sucks.

Only 1 out of our pack of 4 came with proper wall adhesion.Update: After submitting for a replacement the seller reached out to send new ones. The new ones arrived properly packaged and sealed and have stuck to the walls great. Overall pretty happy with the product a d would buy again

Looks great! definitely tamed some frequencies in the room.

Looks and feels awesome, excellent quality. Need about two more sets to completely avoid reverbs, but these four paneles makes a difference.
