Good product

Bought 3 of these, for some reason the third one kept going off every few hours. We figured out it must be faulty, but the other 2 that were installed seem to be working just fine. I installed them myself which was relitivly easy with a drill. Good value for money.

Easy to fit and unlike the old smoke detector it isn't set off by normal cooking vapours (the old one made boiling a kettle never mind using the stove impossible)

These are great but are almost too good as the detector goes off when it detects any form of heat or steam, for example when drying your hair! Reassuring but annoying!

These detectors replaced my existing and out of date ones. They are approved for ten years of use and conform to current fire safety regulations. They came with Batteries and fittings supplied. The optical detection system means that when you Burn toast, the alarm will not activate unnecessarily but when smoke is detected they work very well ( I carried out my own smoke test.) If you live in a Large property these would be an excellent and affordable way to bring Fire / Smoke Detection to your home.

A very good smoke alarm at a reasonable price. I was surprised that I did have to change the battery after just a few months, but hopefully this next battery will last longer. PS One month later and it was going off in the middle of the night - the battery has gone again.
