Useful for someone with autism who wants to learn the unwritten rules of society
As someone with autism who was failed by the educational system and personal upbringing I was not able to learn healthy social skills which resulted in me getting rejected alot. I felt like a rough diamond who didn't get to grow up around people who could bring out the best in me.As someone from my circumstances I have found this book beneficial. For us aspies, grasping unwritten rules of society can be our weakness. I feel hansons work helps offer to educate on what these are. He also has knowledge of history which I have found interesting.Hanson's writing has made me reflect on the hard truths. An example being a person I've just met at a party is very unlikely going to want to hear me talk about my problems after asking 'how are you?'.I went to a party today and reflected on what he had written such as ensuring to let the hosts know if I'll be late, which I had done and to avoid discussing negative personal issues to individuals I haven't met before.Overall I have found this book beneficial and well researched. I am impressed and wish I had access to euch information growing up.

A Delightful Guide to Today's Do's and Don'ts
William Hanson’s Just Good Manners is a delightful and insightful exploration of modern etiquette, delivered with the signature wit and charm familiar to fans of his podcast *Help I Sexted My Boss*. As someone already acquainted with Hanson’s work, I was pleased that this book did not disappoint.Hanson masterfully blends humour and practical advice, offering a comprehensive guide to navigating the do’s and don’ts of contemporary social interactions. Whether you’re looking for tips on dining etiquette, digital manners, or general decorum, his writing makes the subject accessible and engaging. This is a solid addition to Hanson’s repertoire, perfect for those seeking an education in manners and a good laugh. Entertaining, but short.
Dear Mr Hanson, William, if I mayI hope you are well and that the filming for your next appearance on The Wheel went well.Thank you for an entertaining and well-written book. I enjoyed what there was of it, but, sadly, my enjoyment ended much sooner than I had expected. It pleases me to say, however, that I learned nothing I didn't already know, and I am taking that as a positive thing.I look forward to your next publication, which I hope will be more of a tome. With kind regards, yours sincerelyClive
