Helped our ragdoll with IBS
Our ragdoll, Wendy, started having GI issues at a young age. We tried 5 different foods to see if we could find one that agreed with her. The closest success we found was weruva, but Wendy had lingering symptoms of IBS and colitis at times. We ruled out a protein allergy and realized Wendy was most likely sensitive/allergic to thickening agents. We found varying degrees of success with foods our vet recommended. We decided to try one more commercially available food before looking into prescription food. After some research, we found this food that did not have the thickening agents she is sensitive to. Since switching, she’s been doing much better! She is gaining weight, has normal BMs, and really seems to love the food itself. Her brother seems to like it too and eats her leftovers . It’s kind of a unique consistency— a very thick, almost gummy pate. I feel like it smells better than her brother’s fancy feast. It’s pricier than weruva, but we preferred a store bought food over having to get prescription food. She seems much happier on her new food!

Made her belly feel better.. likes tuna sorta.. not chicken..
... they were used to reg can so it was a bit of hard sell.. chicken is very pasty.. this not as bad.. i micro 5 seconds and add hot water.. her n sis eat a third of can each meal.. i save rest in those little condiment cups w lids.. exactly holds 2/3 can..She had been throwing up.. switched foods.. better.. gave 1/8-1/4 pepcid ( reg only not chewable or complete.. 10 mg famatodine frim wmrt) a day better ..but randomly and badly threw up water.. digested food.. couldnt figure it out.. turns out its cat ibd ( worth a google.i think years ago we lost a cat to it)Its immune cell clusters in gi that flare.. can b from food change stress and unknown..We tried prednisolone and it did the trick in fact shes been down to 1 pill a week and shes good.. i give breakfast 7..1/8 pepcid 9 ( helps the steroid not upset belly... steroid 11..We didnt do biopsy to confirm. . We went the route of " if steroid works then its likely the prob" pills are only $1 a piece .. i tunnel out a hole in a jumbo stuff temptation ...tuck the pill and then cover the hole with pill masker that jackson galaxy endorses.. here on amazon.. Amazing stuff...The pepcid i just wrap in masker and roll in crushed temptations..She eats both as a treat no prob..Now i have been able to add 1/4 tsp fancy feast into this food and they think its the best thing ever!!Good luck!..I also use the rx science id food.. it really does make a diff.. worth the money and my kidney failure cat loves it vs kd and hes doin well on it.. i mix it in with their reg kibble so it lasts longerGood luck

Cat Not a Fan - Minced Menu
I bought this for my 1 yr. old cat who has eaten Hill's Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin all their life. I expected the best route was to continue this thru his adult life - even though it is uber expensive. This food is so dry that my cat won't eat it beyond the 1/16 of the can that has a little gravy. I bought 2 different minced flavors and as greedy as he is, he won't eat either. These are super expensive to have 45 cans now that the cat will not eat. I will move away from the Sensitive menu and all things minced (dry).

Saved My Cat
I thought I was feeding my cat a healthy dry cat food. he had been doing very well for about 10 years when suddenly his digestion became very bad and he had smelly diarrhea almost daily and was also vomiting on a regular basis. He lost 2 pounds which is a lot for a cat. I took him to the vet several times and after they did a scan on him they said he probably had pancreatitis. First step was to change his food to a sensitive stomach wet cat food. After doing a lot of research I settled on this food and the change was immediate. Within just a couple of days all of his digestive issues were gone. He has now been on this food for a few months and though he has had a few instances of not perfect digestion, it has been nothing even remotely close to what it was. The best part is that he just started gaining weight again. it’s clear that whatever is happening, he is healing. He is back to grooming himself regularly as well. I will say that he has tried a few flavors now and I like the consistency of the tuna the best. The duck flavor is a bit too hard. Great cat food that I think has truly changed our life. This is the only change that we made and he is all better.

Kitties want more flavors! Otherwise good
Hill's Science Diet has long been my go-to brand in pet food, especially for kibble. One of my two senior cats has developed some digestive issues, so I have tried a few different brands of canned food designed to aid digestion. This does work well to maintain digestive health, but the kitties aren't pleased that there are only 2 flavors available. If I switch back and forth with another brand (that also only has two flavors), that seems to make them happy. After all, the food doesn't do any good if they won't eat it. When they get this food every second or third day, they lick the bowls clean. This a trusted brand with plenty of supportive science behind it. I'm happy to feed this to my kitties, but we could use a couple more flavors!

Cats didn’t like it / but it works
Cats hated it. Would not eat it, well they would but barely. I had to get their old cat food and really mash it up to have it all mixed together. I will say though that it absolutely helped with my one cats stomach issues. He’s getting older and has been vomiting a lot lately, once I switched over to this food - even with mixing it- it definitely helped. If your cats a picky eater, I wouldn’t recommend this though.
