Great For Steaming vegies!
I wanted this for steaming vegies, sauteing, soup, sauces and slow cooking. However, even on 300 W liquids evaporate quickly; my spaghetti sauce evaporated in 15 min.. The lid has drainage holes, but steam comes out. I tried country spare ribs; recipe online for this very hot pot. Browned the ribs, added the sauce, set at 300 W, cover with the lid. Directions said cook 2-3 hrs. within 30 mins, the sauce evaporated 2x's and the pork ribs overdone. I would like to try soup.. but how if it evaporates in a few min. I contacted the company, no reply. Is there a solution? Did another lid without holes come with it; didn't receive one. Hoping another reviewer has the answer for me.

Great for living in a dorm
Got this since I live in a dorm and really tired of putting everything in the communal microwave. Not too heavy, easy to clean and doesn’t take too long to boil. It works great just has kinda of a short cord. It’s easy to use and doesn’t get hot on the sides. I use it all the time and verse the microwave it’s worth the money

Nice gadget
Pros: I used this item for the first time this morning to make fried eggs. I thought for sure they would stick to the pan- they didn’t! The lid’s handle cleverly extends beyond just a small handle in the middle of the lid. I’ll try steaming veggies next. The only cons would be that the handle light can not be viewed at an angle. The other would be that the item cannot be thrown in the dishwasher due to electronics.
