I’ve been natural for over 10 years. I’ve used my fair share of brushes over that time frame and only recently did enough research to convince myself to try the tangle teezer, as my previous brush had started to snag my hair. I was very skeptical at first- the bristles just didn’t look like they could handle my coarse, thick hair. But I decided to give it a try anyway. When I tell you all this was a game changer?! It truly is. I normally only brush my hair in the shower whilst conditioning, and after finger detangling lightly with shampoo (minimizes breakage for me). In the past, brushing my hair through would take upwards of 1 hour (no lie, again I’ve got thick hair). However, the first time I used this (brushing from ends to root), I was fully detangled in 30-40min. The overall experience was just more pleasant as well, and I experienced way less snagging and breakage in the process than with other brushes. It’s my favorite brush I’ve ever used so far, and I’ve been recommending it to my friends ever since. Give it a try- you won’t be disappointed!

Feels quite stiff, bristles are long and god for curly hair but feel very stiff so pull. Am hoping this will soften

After checking out various brands, and the reviews, for detangling brushes on this site, I chose this brush - and so very glad I did. My normal detangling combs that I have used for years were no longer working. I thought I would have to get an extremely short hair cut to remove the knots and tangles. But this brush sorted it! The worst knots were brushed out easily and painlessly whilst hair was still wet after washing.

I’ve started my curly hair journey and was recommended this brush! It’s amazing on my wet hair, I tend to use it before shampoo to get rid of knots and then again when conditioner is in my hair. Definitely recommend!

This is my second tangle teezer and I love this brush so much for my hair. I have thick type 4 hair and this brush makes detangling sections of my hair easy.
