The product works in the early 2008 imac 24inch. It has to be mentioned in the description that it's a non ecc chip. I do not know if it's an original Samsung but it's working fine, willupdatethe review in case it stops working

WAS STRUGGLING WITH PROCESING SPEED ISSUES WITH MY OLD HP.WAS NOT REALLY SURE WHETHER INVESTING 3000 BUCKS IS REALLY WORTH THE MONEY.AFTER GETTING IT, I AM USING IT FOR LAST 3 WEEKS & FOLLOWING ARE MY TAKE ON THIS RAM.● DEFINITE BOST ON PROCESSING SPEED.● CAN HANDLE ALL OFFICE APLICATIONS LIKE MS ACCESS, MS EXCEL SIMULTANEOUSLY● SINCE CHROME IS RESOURCE HUNGRY , THAT SLOWS DOWN A BIT WHEN YOU ARE RUNNING CHROME ALONGWITH OTHER APPLICATIONS.BUT THE SLOWNESS IS SOMEHOW CONTRIBUTED THE OLD PROCESSOR AS WELL BECAUSE I DIDN'T CHANGED THE MOTHERBOARD OR PROCESSOR.● CAN HANDLE PHOTOSHOP ALONE.● DID INSTALLED PYCHARM & RAN SOME PYTHON CODES.THAT WORKED TOO.OVERALL, IF IT RUNS FOR ANOTHER 2-3 YEARS , I WILL BE MORE THAN SATISFIED.

I ordered 2gb and got 1gb instead. So returned the product.

Its does not affect atall waste of money

I have old laptop with 2 DDR2 RAM slot. 1 slot already have 800 MHz ram, so i ordered another DDR2 RAM of same frequency, now it working very well.Note that if u want to utilise ur RAM in optimum way - they must have same working frequency. And also refer same amount of memory in multiple slots {not necessarily but preferable}

I bought this RAM for my compaq cq 40 laptop. My laptop had 1GB RAM. To upgrade to 4 GB RAM, I bought 2 nos of this 2GB RAM through Amazon. After replacement, my laptop works fast. Really very cheap price and also working RAM. Thanks Amazon & the seller!
