How does water removal work?

These units only have a drain port ~3 inches off the ground near the bottom. They suggest wheeling the unit outside and opening the drain if needed to let it run out on the sidewalk or driveway where you don't mind. Obviously that means disconnecting the window vents, etc, so that's not very convenient. When used as a "heat pump", it'll need plenty of draining, so I've set up a "Condensation pump" unit (by Little Giant or such brand) to pump the water into a bucket as needed (which I can empty every other day or such). FYI other units like the 122DHP model is about the same but includes a pump for getting rid of water. That may be a feature you really should consider if you expect to use it for heating and/or fear the need to drain often. Otherwise they say in normal AC mode that most water condensing on the cool coils will drain to the hot ones, get evaporated, and blow out the window with hot air going thru the vent tubes. That is nice for that mode, but that's only half the time you may be using it. So lots to consider before spending $500 on something like this.

So confused about this unit, (conflicting reviews). Need to know if it is quiet, (for bedroom), will last longer than 1 season, is it very heavy? TY

I've had 1400 BTU Whynter SH for 7 years now. Will I buy another brand? (No way) When you cool your room, just turn your fan down and it's quieter than a window unit. At 88 lbs. a husband and wife can easily move it from one floor to another. The big casters make it easy for anyone to move it on a floor. Until the freon transition is complete, this model is a smart alternative until the costs of new Heat Pumps come down again. (My humble yet thrifty opinion)

We put this one in our small server room and its not cooling enough. Anything stronger than this? We need to freeze that room but this can do 67F only

Why do you want to freeze a server room? You're going to create condensation which is really bad for your equipment. 60-70 degrees is optimal for a server room, which is exactly what you're getting already at 67. As long as your RH is also 45-65% you're perfect as is.

What is the internal diameter for a proper fit drain hose?

The proper answer is a 1/2 hose. i.e. with a 1/2 inside diameter. This is something I recently obtained. Its not right for people to spit out the incorrect answer. That member should be flagged.
